ABOUT Zuleeats

Zuleeats specializes in traditional Ghanaian savoury meat pies, but don’t let the name fool you! Filling options for pies include vegan and vegetarian, as well as beef and chicken. Each filling has a unique blend of mouth-watering seasoning and is enveloped in a flaky golden brown pastry.

In addition to meat pies, Zuleeats also offers sausage rolls, Ghanaian meal specials (fufu, okra, jollof rice, chicken, etc.) and on the sweeter side offerings include butter tarts and almond rolls. Each of these treats are handmade, baked fresh and only the highest quality products are used. Special orders for other Ghanaian treats or anything that you are craving are welcome too! Chef Zule is happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions including gluten free.

Zuleeats has a storefront at 2760 Howard Avenue but is also known for popping up at festivals, markets and events throughout the city, including as a permanent vendor at the Downtown Windsor Farmers Market. Additionally, Zuleeats’ famous Ghanaian meat pies are retailed in local grocery stores throughout the city.

Since beginning to operate, Zuleeats has been recognized as a top restaurant and business within Windsor-Essex County. Zuleeats is a strong advocate for individuals with disabilities and newcomers to Canada. Zuleeats is proud to be a family owned and operate, women owned and black owned business.

“The Zuleeats mission statement is my personal philosophy – to connect with others through food. In Ghana, eating is not just a function for survival, it’s how we express ourselves and connect with our community. Many of our traditions and celebrations are centred around food. It’s something that we experience and share with those around us. This value that is channeled through every meal that is created at Zuleeats.

My vision is to be the leading name in West African food providing quality and convenient recipes to anyone who enjoys good food regardless of ethnicity and dietary restriction.”
