Justin’s future books will explore Canadian sports and interpersonal relationships from a psychological perspective.
About The Founder
Justin Louis-Jean
Justin Louis-Jean, 22, was born in Canada with Haitian and Trinidadian roots. He attended an art school in high school and aspired to focus on writing, but his proposal was declined. Undeterred, he began writing his book and found a collaborator in Pierce Mortensen. Justin graduated from college in 2020 during the pandemic, an experience he discusses in his book, which demotivated him from pursuing university immediately and led him to follow his passions instead.
With a longstanding passion for writing, Justin was inspired to address the need for reform in the education system through extensive research and personal academic experiences. His book, co-written with Pierce Mortensen, has received accolades, winning an award and being placed in the top five in the education category at the International Book Awards in 2022. It was also featured in the October 2023 issue of Voraka Magazine.
“I’m participating because I need to be surrounded by like-minded people who can give me advice. By participating, I can network and meet other business people who can help each other.”
