About The Founder

Udoka Nwosu

Udoka Nwosu is the Creative Director of Eudokas International Inc., a family-run social enterprise. Her journey into beauty and wellness began in Africa as a young adult with a personal skin concern. This led to a deep interest in skincare, eventually becoming an Esthetician. Witnessing the adverse effects of steroids and toxins in various skincare products inspired Udoka to tap into Africa’s ancient beauty secrets used by her family during childhood, ultimately giving birth to the Eudokas brand.

Udoka holds a Master of Management in Supply Chain and Logistics from the University of Windsor, Canada, and a degree in Accounting. She is an Associate Fellow of The Institute of Strategic Management (ISM) Nigeria. She has received prestigious scholarships such as the Y Combinator Startup School and the EPICenter Venture Women Inspire-her Pitch Award. Eudokas products were selected in the REAP+iLaunchHERproduct pitch competition to be stocked for TJX Canada locations and The Amazon Black Entrepreneurship Accelerator. Udoka has participated in trade exhibitions facilitated by organizations like ITC SheTrades and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), providing valuable insights into global markets. Additionally, she has trained and mentored over 2,350 individuals in esthetics and business skills. Her story has been featured by media outlets, including BBC, and she actively contributes to the entrepreneurial landscape as a founder and mentor.

Our vision is a future where ethical practices and eco-conscious choices seamlessly intertwine, setting a new standard for natural cosmetics that nourishes both individuals and the planet.

Participating in the Southwestern Ontario Black Entrepreneurship Network (SWOBEN) is invaluable for my entrepreneurial journey. It grants me access to crucial resources and educational opportunities to strengthen my business foundation. The professional advising tailored to the unique challenges I face as a Black entrepreneur is incredibly supportive. Additionally, SWOBEN offers me the chance to network with fellow entrepreneurs and nonprofit leaders, fostering a community of collaboration.
